Grand Opening!!!

Posted by Justin Zautner on

Tonight I sit here thinking about the future of my family.  We are nearing our first day of business.  The thoughts I'm having are overwhelming. I'm prepared, excited and concerned all at the same time. We've spent years preparing.  The many books I've read and the business meetings I've attended were stepping stones to this exact moment. Our Grand Opening is coming!  My family has been producing these products for as long as I can remember.  I've been using them for just as long. Tomorrow we share them with the world!

Today, the world as we know it is overwhelmed with products that are artificially produced. I remember not long ago being at the store and looking at a chicken with my wife.  The chicken was the same size as the turkey just a few feet down isle.  After a little bit of research you can find that major chicken producers inject growth hormones and raise them in "farms" that look like an industrial factory. You can find a trend like this with almost anything.  The last time I looked at the label of a store bought shampoo bottle was when I was gone with the military.  The bottle has six lines of "ingredients."  One of those ingredients was PPG-5-CETETH-20. Nothing about this sounds natural.   Come to find out PPG-5-CETETH-20 is a moderate hazard ingredient because of contamination concerns, including: Ethylene Oxide, known to increase the incidences of uterine and breast cancers and of leukemia and brain cancer, according to experimental results reported by the National Toxicology Program. The Material Safety Data Sheet for PPG-5-CETETH-20 also finds it to be a mild skin irritant. This is the importance of what we are doing!  We may be a small business but we are bringing you products that are as close to nature as we can.  You will never see In Dew Thyme in a Wal-Mart or Shopko.  We are the little guys in the world trying to make a difference.  My family and I fully believe that if a product is going to be used daily there shouldn't be ANY doubt that it's unsafe for your families.

To everyone out there..

Welcome to In Dew Thyme
